QuintEssential Performance™ Architecture

QuintEssential Performance™ Architecture

The QuintEssential Performance™ Model makes sense out of people performance. The model is a five-level visual representation of 18 variables that must be aligned to achieve superior people performance for individuals, teams, departments, and organizations.

Level 2

Infrastructure

QEP Model - Level 2

  • Provides employees with the resources and direction they need to do their jobs well.

When the Infrastructure and Foundation are in alignment, they give employees consistent messages about who the company is, where it's going, and how people are expected to behave. This permits employees to make appropriate decisions confidently and independently. The Infrastructure Level consists of four segments.

  • Policies:
Overall guidelines that establish parameters for present and future decisions.
  • Procedures:
A series of steps followed in a regular, definite order to accomplish a specific end-result.
  • Systems:
A logical arrangement of elements (equipment, people, procedures) used to complete major business functions, such as strategic planning, hiring, communications, inventory control, order processing, new business development.
  • Tools:
Equipment, materials and people needed to get a job done.

Do your employees have the resources and direction they need to excel? Are your policies, procedures, systems, and tools adequate to support your company’s desired future?
